| Etchell #55 | Brief history of 55: She spent many years in Newport Ca. racing with the fleet down there. In the late 1990s she was bought by a gentleman from Gibbons BC and moved there. He never put her in the water. My brother-in law and I bought her 2004 and moved her to Seattle. We extensively rebuilt and upgraded her. In 2005 we moved her to San Francisco where she now sits. Boat was measured for the SF Worlds a few years ago, she weighed in about 20 lbs over min weight. Here are the major items we did: New dual axe trailer (2004) with sail box and storage box 2 masts, Australian and old Proctor 3 sets of main and jib sails, 1 spinnaker New North sails, been used less then 10 times Practice sails by North in good shape Older North sails New running rigging and controls, work mostly done in SF, has all desired gross and fine tune lines Movable mast butt, Tapered main, jib and spin sheets Spin bag, sheet bags, cockpit cover Light weight carbon tiller | Make Offer |
