Registration

Thank you to all of you have sent in your entries, in particular our Commonwealth friends. We have received about 1/4 of the entries so far and they are posted on this website. For those of you haven't entered yet the August 15th deadline is fast approaching. Entries can be faxed into (510) 655-1133 and then followed with a hardcopy. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call me (510) 334-2232 or email me at RBRANSTAD@AOL.COM.

If you have sent your boat via ocean freight you should also have been in contact with me. I know of five containers that we need to meet and greet, so if you haven't contacted me please do.

When you arrive in Richmond please check in the registration desk first, it will be located on the ground floor, back room, of the Richmond Yacht Club, and manned by a cheerful group of volunteers. At the registration desk you will need to sign an original waiver, charge card authorization, and give us the card billing address. We also need you to sign our guest book and you'll be issued a colored lanyard for club and bar privileges. We will use drink tickets for the bar, and these tickets can be purchased on your card at registration and race day evenings. If you have arranged housing through us we will direct you to our coordinator.

Your registration packet will also include the measurement sheets for hull, hull weight, safety, sails, and crew weights. Your original sail and hull cards will be reviewed and any class membership and fee issues taken care of by our class secretary Bunny Wyatt. If your hull has been here for awhile the measurement sheet will be complete, but you will probably still need to have it weighed. Likewise we will do some sail measuring prior to September 1st.

Please note that the NOR requires all boats to be in Richmond by 9:00am on Thursday September 1, 2005.

Most of the boats are currently next door to RYC at Brickyard Cove. There are mules available for moving the boats around and two hoists available.

Please be aware of the NOR, which states that all boats must be afloat by 15:00 Saturday and no boat shall be hauled out of the water after 1200 on that day.

After Sunday all boats must be kept in the Richmond Yacht Club harbor. We will have berthing assigned by bow number.
